Our corporate catering is extensive, ranging from basic sandwich catering to buffet lunches and BBQ, right through to catering for Breakfast Seminars (with an adjoining Conference Centre within Angel Place) and Post Conference Cocktail Functions. From catering for End-Of-Month Staff Drinks to Formal Boardroom style lunches, our repertoire is indeed impressive.

Our clients include Perpetual Trustee, Dibbs Barker Lawyers, Maddocks Lawyers, Schroders, Capital Finance, Accor Hotels, Holman Webb, DFAT, ACCC, and Audrey Page and Associates, Nomura Australia, to name a few.

We deliver to premises within 10 minutes' walking distance from Angel Place, and further for substantial order.

FUNCTIONS

We regularly hold functions and events here at Bar Cupola, ranging from Cocktail style and Sit Down Dinners, to VIP-room events for sponsors of performing groups like the Brandenburg Orchestra, Musica Viva and Australian Chamber Orchestra.

Our minimum numbers are 40 covers, up to 88 covers for a sit-down dinner and 300 covers for a cocktail function.

Our presence at Angel Place is versatile, and graced with a triple volume ceiling and an impressive 20-metre painting, the space is indeed captivating.

Clients who have used us for their functions and events include ABN Amro, Caltex Australia, Price Waterhouse Coopers, IBM Australia, BNP Paribas, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ Bank, and many more.

There are other spaces within the building available for hire, together with a Conference Centre.

PRE-CONCERT DINNERS

Highlights of our venue include a direct access into the City Recital Hall on Level One, wheelchair friendly site from the street and internal carpark. We have a commercial parking station in the building that serves both the Recital Hall and Bar Cupola.

Our pre-concert dinners are in conjunction with performances at the City Recital Hall and if there are prior bookings of at least 15 people for the evening. We encourage early bookings. Please call 92213377 or email Barcupola@ozemail.com.au

Dinner schedules are mostly Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday Nights only. We do not open on Public Holidays or Sundays. We will only commit to “Post” dinners on request from the performing group with a 50 cover minimum guarantee. To-date we have only committed to a Post Dinner evening for the IQ Intelligent Squad Debate.

We are generally close for dinners during the Christmas/New Year break from 25 December to 31 January.

CONFERENCE CENTRE

AMP Capital Investors operate a Conference Centre within Angel Place. Full conferencing facilities are available and the room can be hired out on an hourly basis through Bar Cupola, making this facility very attractive for most businesses wanting a central CBD location.
